Heroes & Horses Receives DVNF Grant

Heroes & Horses is honored to have received a grant from the Disabled Veterans National Foundation (DVNF) to which will fund Operation Hope. Operation Hope will provide 40 women who have experienced MST with a combination of equine-assisted learning and therapy group work (weekly 2-hour sessions for 5 weeks) and experiential two-day intensive retreat in November 2021.

Board President and co-founder of Heroes & Horses said, “Heroes & Horses is honored that the DVFN has granted us the opportunity with their 5,000 dollar grant to be able to help the women veterans that have served our country receive the equine assisted learning therapy to empower them to heal.”
